The Junction Training Centre is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) registered training centre and is able to offer a full range of food hygiene courses. Our trainers are professionals with current experience of the Retail and Food industry and can bring a unique perspective to this type of training.

The titles of CIEH courses have been updated from basic, intermediate and advanced to levels 1-4. The system now begins with level one courses which are equivalent to induction training and are generally 2-3 hours in length, level 2 are the equivalent of the old basic or foundation courses. Level 3 are intermediate standard and level 4 are advanced. Please call if you need further clarification about what might be appropriate for your needs.

We can either offer courses run at our own training centres or we can undertake training "on-site" subject to your requirements.

Food hygiene training is a legal requirement and food businesses can be fined for not training their staff; recently a fish and chip shop in Lewisham was fined £2000 plus over £1000 costs for not training its food handlers.

We aim to provide a professional training service which relates to current legislation and is appropriately targeted to the aptitude level of the candidates.
